The Joy prayer bead was, as the name suggests, created to bring joy and luck to its bearer’s life. Our earthly journey can often feel hard; joyless, even. However, we can trust that our Heavenly Father always wants us to have something good – he does not punish us with evil, but is present in our lives and even wishes to share the greatest of sorrows with us. He wants to bring joy to our lives.
 
The Joy prayer bead is made from palm wood beads. Five special glass beads remind us of playing and the genuine joy of children – the way in which all of us should value our inner child. The olivewood cross comes from an Assisi, Italy, the hometown of Francis of Assisi.
